A New Performance Ceiling for Mobile Gaming

Lenovo is set to launch its latest gaming tablet, the Legion Y700 Infinite, on August 25, 2026. According to company data reported by Notebookcheck and Tugatech, the tablet recorded a benchmark score of 4,585,844 points on AnTuTu.

Display Engineering and Design

By achieving over 4 million points on the AnTuTu platform, the device outperforms the RedMagic Astra 2 in recent monthly performance charts, as noted by Notebookcheck.

The tablet is built with an 8.4-inch OLED display, which supports a 165Hz refresh rate and a “2.5K” resolution. According to Tugatech, the physical design includes narrow bezels measuring 2.89 mm. The device has a thickness of 6.5 mm and weighs 298 grams. Lenovo has opted for a punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera, a design choice that Notebookcheck reports differs from the company’s Tab Gen 5 model.

Power Management and Connectivity Shifts

Reports from Tugatech and industry leaker “Panda is Bald,” cited by Notebookcheck, suggest the device will be equipped with a 7,500 mAh battery. This represents a decrease from the battery capacity found in the Lenovo Y700 model released in March.

To mitigate the impact of the smaller battery, the tablet includes support for 68W fast charging. Additionally, the device introduces 5G mobile connectivity, a feature not present in its predecessor.

Regional Branding and Availability

The Legion Y700 Infinite represents an entry in Lenovo’s gaming-focused mobile segment. While the product is confirmed for a launch in China on August 25, 2026, the company has not yet provided details regarding a potential release in global markets. The final commercial name of the device remains subject to change, with reports indicating it may be marketed as the Y700 Infinite, Y700 Ultimate, or Y700 Unlimited, depending on the final regional branding strategy.
