Leica camera enthusiasts will have opportunities to explore the brand’s latest offerings and learn from a veteran of the company at events hosted by GraphicArt AG in Ittigen-Bern and Zürich this March. The events will showcase the new Leica M-EV1, the first camera in the M-Series to exclusively utilize an electronic viewfinder.
On Thursday, March 12, 2026, GraphicArt will hold Leica Explore product workshops in Ittigen-Bern. A German-language workshop will take place in the morning, followed by a French-language session in the afternoon. The following day, Friday, March 13, 2026, a Leica Profi Day will be held in Zürich, featuring a presentation and an afternoon Leica Explore workshop.
The Leica M-EV1 represents a significant departure for the iconic M-Series, abandoning the traditional rangefinder in favor of an electronic viewfinder. GraphicArt’s Leica specialist, Mathias Gfeller, will be on hand at both events to provide detailed information about the new camera and other Leica products.
A key draw for the Zürich event is a presentation by Stefan Daniel, a long-time Leica executive with extensive experience across various departments within the company. Daniel’s talk, titled “70 Years of Leica M,” will delve into the history and enduring appeal of the Leica M system. The presentation will be offered twice on March 13th, at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM, and requires online registration due to limited seating. As of today, February 21, 2026, spaces are still available for both sessions.
The Leica Profi Day in Zürich will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on March 13th. The afternoon Leica Explore workshop is scheduled from 2:00 PM to approximately 5:00 PM. GraphicArt AG’s Zürich location is at Förrlibuckstrasse 220, 8005 Zürich, and can be reached at 043 388 00 22.
