Leclerc Job Fair: Long Queues for Dozens of Open Positions
A large crowd gathered Saturday morning at the E.Leclerc hypermarkets in Saint-Brice-Courcelles and Champfleury, forming a long line at the entrance to a vacant storefront in Champfleury. The gathering was for “La Grande Rencontre,” a job fair offering dozens of positions across various departments.
“It’s the first time we’ve had this many people,” said Vincent Auminy, the director of the Champfleury store, according to reporting by L’Union. Approximately twenty local department heads were on hand to conduct initial ten-minute interviews with candidates who brought their resumes. Applicants were informed that the store commits to responding to all candidates within ten days regarding the next steps in the recruitment process.
The recruitment drive encompassed a wide range of roles, including bakers, cashiers, sales associates, mechanics, and order pickers for the drive-through service. The event was part of a larger initiative taking place in over 480 E.Leclerc centers across France, aimed at recruiting future employees.
According to information published on the E.Leclerc website, as of March 25, 2026, the Champfleury location is offering a CDI (permanent contract) position for a baker, along with host/cashier positions and several sales associate roles. Five CDI positions are available for order pickers, split between Champfleury and other locations in the Reims area – Jean-Jaurès and La Pompelle. Additional seasonal contracts are being offered to bolster teams during the summer months.
