Le Creusot, France – A surge of generosity was on display Tuesday morning at the Léon-Blum high school, as students and staff participated in a blood drive organized by the local Blood Donation Association and the French Blood Establishment (EFS).The event saw 29 individuals donate blood, with a particularly encouraging 15 making their first-ever donation.

Among those answering the call to donate was Louane Souillot-Devillard,an 18-year-old first-year BTS CRCI (design and production in industrial boilermaking) student. “Members of the Crousotine association visited the school to educate us about blood donation and how vital this act is to saving lives,” Souillot-Devillard explained. “It was truly insightful and solidified my desire to participate – my mother is already a regular donor, and I wanted to follow her example.”
