Lava Mobile has launched its new budget smartphone, the Bold N2 Pro, in India, priced at ₹7,999 (approximately $85 USD), the company announced Tuesday. The device is aimed at first-time smartphone users and offers features typically found in more expensive models.
The Bold N2 Pro features a 6.67-inch LCD display with a 720p+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a Unisoc T7250 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone does not support expandable storage via microSD card.
A key selling point of the Bold N2 Pro is its battery life. It houses a 5000mAh battery and supports 18W swift wired charging. Lava promises a major Android operating system update to Android 16, along with security updates for two years, extending support through 2028.
The smartphone’s camera system includes a 50-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The device also boasts an IP54 rating for protection against dust and water splashes.
The Lava Bold N2 Pro is available in multiple colors, including gold and grey. The launch comes as Lava seeks to gain market share in India’s competitive budget smartphone segment, according to industry analysts.
