Larl Arrives in Birmingham Sporting “King” T-Shirt | Dota 2 ESL One News
Team Spirit midlaner Denis “Larl” Sigitov arrived in Birmingham for the ESL One tournament sporting a t-shirt emblazoned with the phrase “Царь, просто царь” – “Tsar, just a Tsar” – as documented by Team Spirit host Vyacheslav “Art1st” Lyadnov. Sigitov paired the statement shirt with a Stone Island jacket.
The arrival comes as Team Spirit began their ESL One Birmingham campaign with a victory over paiN Gaming and a draw against Aurora, according to a Facebook post from Team Spirit. Today, March 23rd, the team is scheduled to compete against Falcons and OG.
Sigitov recently commented on his team’s recent performance, describing it as “not great, but not terrible either,” and noted that Xtreme Gaming was underperforming expectations at ESL One Birmingham 2024. He stated, “So far Xtreme Gaming is not performing well – they ended yesterday with a score of 0:4. It’s ok, even good for Tundra Esports.”
The comments from Larl followed a report from Team Spirit captain Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naydenov regarding changes within the team. Meanwhile, Team Spirit’s Ilia “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk recently recalled an instance of being recognized in a computer club in Warsaw.
ESL One Birmingham 2026 group stage play began this Sunday with Team Spirit’s match against paiN, as per the tournament schedule.
