Despite a significant delay to begin her match, the two-time major champion was the onyl player to complete a contest on Day 2 in Seoul.
The tournament has been significantly impacted by rain, forcing the postponement of several first-round matches. Krejcikova will next face either No. 8 seed Emma Raducanu or Jaqueline Cristian, whose match is among those rescheduled for Wednesday.
