Barbora Krejcikova powered into the second round of the Korea Open 2025 presented by Motiva on Tuesday, defeating qualifier Tatiana Prozorova 6-1, 6-2 in 1 hour and 16 minutes. Despite a significant delay to begin her match, the two-time major champion was the onyl player to complete a contest on Day 2 in Seoul.
The tournament has been significantly impacted by rain, forcing the postponement of several first-round matches. Krejcikova will next face either No. 8 seed Emma Raducanu or Jaqueline Cristian, whose match is among those rescheduled for Wednesday.
