Klint Kubiak was named head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday, February 9, 2026, the team announced. The appointment marks Kubiak’s first head coaching position in the National Football League.
Kubiak’s path to the Raiders’ top job spans over a decade of experience as an assistant coach with multiple NFL franchises and college programs. He began his coaching career in 2010 at Texas A&M University, serving as an offensive quality control coach for two seasons before becoming a graduate assistant and inside wide receivers coach in 2012, according to team records and reports.
Following his time at Texas A&M, Kubiak joined the Minnesota Vikings in 2013 as an offensive quality control coach, a role he held for two seasons. He then spent 2015 as the wide receivers coach for the University of Kansas. His NFL experience continued with the Denver Broncos from 2016 to 2018, where he served as an offensive assistant and later as a quarterbacks coach.
Kubiak returned to the Vikings from 2019 to 2021, initially as a quarterbacks coach before being promoted to offensive coordinator in 2021. In 2023, he held the position of offensive passing game specialist with the San Francisco 49ers, and most recently, in 2025, he was the offensive coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks.
The Seattle Seahawks, under Kubiak’s offensive leadership in 2025, won Super Bowl LX on February 8, 2026, defeating the New England Patriots 29-13.
Kubiak is the son of Gary Kubiak, a former NFL coach. He played college football as a safety at Colorado State University from 2005 to 2009.
