Klaveness Combination Carriers Receives New Cabu Class Vessel
Klaveness Combination Carriers (KCC) has taken delivery of the MV Bastion, the second third-generation CABU vessel to join its fleet.
The vessel is part of a next-generation series of combination carriers designed to enhance the company’s operational capacity. The addition of the MV Bastion follows the delivery of previous units in the third-generation CABU class, which are engineered to handle diverse cargo requirements.
This delivery occurs as KCC maintains a trajectory of fleet expansion and operational securing. The company recently finalized a two-year charter agreement for one of its CLEANBU vessels, further diversifying its contracted revenue streams.
According to the company’s Annual Report and Fourth Quarter 2025 results, KCC concluded the 2025 fiscal year with positive momentum. The organization has indicated that this operational strength is intended to carry forward into 2026.
The integration of the MV Bastion into the fleet aligns with the company’s current deployment of next-generation combination carriers to meet market demands for versatile shipping solutions.
