Kings of Leon Drop Surprise EP #2,Following Recent Album and Collaborations
Nashville rock band Kings of Leon have unexpectedly released a new four-track EP,titled EP #2,available now via their own Love Tap Records, distributed by Virgin Music. The EP marks a new chapter for the band, featuring their frist self-produced recordings.
The release arrives on the heels of the band’s 2024 album, Can We Please Have Fun, and recent collaborations with Zach Bryan on the singles “We’re Onto something” and “Bowery.” Kings of Leon and Bryan performed both songs live during a series of stadium shows this past summer. Can We Please Have fun was inspired by Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way and the music of post-punk bands like IDLES and Fontaines D.C.,as singer and guitarist Caleb Followill shared in a May interview with the Kyle Meredith With… podcast.
EP #2‘s tracklist is as follows:
- All The Little Sheep
- To Space
- Pit To The Rind
- The Wolf
Kings of Leon will conclude 2025 with a two-night residency,”Kings of Leon: Live in Las Vegas,” at the Venetian Theater at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas on December 30th and 31st.
