Kingfishr Announces Surprise Four-City Pop-Up Tour Across Ireland
Kingfishr will visit Galway, Limerick, Cork, and Dublin in a single day on Saturday, November 7, to celebrate the upcoming release of their album Weight Of The Feather. The trio, who met while studying engineering at the University of Limerick in 2017 and later formed their band in the city, announced the four-city pop-up schedule after revealing details of the new record on November 4.
Four Cities in One Day
The whirlwind itinerary begins in Galway at 10:30 am before moving to an undisclosed location in Limerick at 1:30 pm. The band will then travel to Cork for a 5:00 pm appearance, wrapping up the day in Dublin at 9:30 pm. The exact nature of the visits and whether they will feature live performances remain unconfirmed, and the band advised fans to watch their social media channels for precise location drops throughout the day.
Details of the surprise tour first reached supporters via an email shared by That Concert Bible. “We’re running around Ireland on Saturday to celebrate the new album,” the band wrote in the message to fans who pre-saved the upcoming release. “We’re letting you know first here cause you’re sound.”

Band Announces Title Track Release and Reflects on New Project
The Saturday pop-ups precede the release of the album’s title track on Friday, November 13. Reflecting on the creative process behind the new project in a statement, the band said, “We’re really proud of what we have made here the last few months, it feels like we’ve truly tapped into something special.” They acknowledged the realities of their career, noting that the work brings both unique opportunities and distinct challenges while exploring the highs and lows of life.
The upcoming release follows the success of their single “Killeagh,” which spent 17 weeks at number one in Ireland, and their debut album, Halcyon. Following the autumn promotional events, Kingfishr will embark on a European tour running from March to August 2027, with dates in London, Paris, Rome, Belfast, Dublin, and Limerick.
