Kingfisher Insurance Becomes UK Presenting Partner of Motorsport Mundial
Kingfisher Insurance Secures Multi-Year Partnership with ITV4’s Motorsport Mundial
Kingfisher Insurance has finalized an exclusive multi-year agreement to become the UK Presenting Partner of the long-running television program Motorsport Mundial. The deal, brokered with producer Greenlight Television, places the insurance provider at the center of the series broadcast on ITV4 and ITVX, marking a significant expansion of the company’s footprint within the UK motorsport sector.
Strategic Integration Across Broadcast and Digital
The partnership provides Kingfisher Insurance with a year-round media presence, leveraging a program that has maintained a broadcast schedule for nearly three decades. Motorsport Mundial currently produces 50 editions annually, capturing both two-wheel and four-wheel racing action alongside industry news and behind-the-scenes features. Beyond traditional television slots, the collaboration includes the launch of a new YouTube series titled “Crashing is Part of the Game.”
By featuring competitors, racing teams, and specialist businesses, the series intends to highlight the resilience required in the sport while showcasing the role of specialized insurance products.

Expanding the Specialist Insurance Proposition
For Kingfisher Insurance, this agreement serves as a logical progression of its recent commercial activity. Earlier this year, the company launched its Master Road Section Top-Up insurance policy in collaboration with Motorsport UK. The move into broadcast sponsorship aligns with a stated strategy to strengthen its market position among teams, competitors, and industry-related businesses.
Gareth Butler, Managing Director at Kingfisher Insurance, emphasized that the partnership reflects the firm’s long-term commitment to the motorsport ecosystem. According to Butler, the initiative is aimed at connecting with the community in new ways, supporting the growth of the sport, and reinforcing the company’s reputation for supporting the motorsport sector’s specific insurance needs.
