Eagles Extend Winning ‌Streak Over Falcons with ⁤27-21 Victory

Ypsilanti – ​Eastern Michigan‍ secured​ its fourth consecutive win against Bowling ‍Green on Saturday, ​defeating the Falcons 27-21 ‌in a Mid-American Conference matchup.A balanced offensive performance led by running back dontae McMillan and quarterback Noah Kim propelled the Eagles to victory.

The win improves Eastern⁣ Michigan’s record to 3-7 overall and 2-4 in the MAC, while Bowling Green falls to 3-7‍ and 1-5 in conference play. This⁤ result continues a trend of Eastern Michigan dominance in the series, solidifying ⁢their position against a ‌key conference rival.

McMillan proved ⁣instrumental on the ground, rushing for 100 yards on 19 carries and scoring a crucial⁣ 8-yard touchdown‌ in the fourth quarter. Kim efficiently managed the passing​ game,completing 22 of‍ 39 attempts for ‌210 yards and ‍a 12-yard touchdown pass ‍to Nick⁤ Devereaux,who finished with⁣ four receptions for 79 yards. Tavierre Dunlap contributed 47 rushing yards and a 1-yard touchdown.

Bowling Green’s offense was spearheaded by Austyn Dendy,who ran for 113 yards‍ on 21 carries ⁤and scored two touchdowns. Hunter Najm completed 11 ‌of 15 passes for ⁤129‌ yards, connecting‌ with Jyrin Johnson​ for a⁣ 2-yard touchdown. ​Johnson had four receptions for 36 yards.

A late field goal by‍ Rudy Kessinger, a 44-yarder with 57 seconds remaining,‍ sealed the victory for Eastern Michigan after ⁢Bowling ⁤Green had ⁢narrowed the gap to three points with a touchdown. The ​Eagles finished with⁢ 175 rushing yards ‍and 210 passing yards, ‍committing no turnovers, while the Falcons totaled 259 yards with​ 130 on the ground and 129 through the air.
