KILL TONY: WrestleMania – Tickets, Date & WWE Superstar Appearances
LAS VEGAS – WWE and comedian Tony Hinchcliffe announced Monday a collaboration to bring “KILL TONY: WrestleMania” to Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas on Saturday, April 18, following the conclusion of WrestleMania Saturday at Allegiant Stadium.
The event, part of WrestleMania 42 week, will feature a format blending rapid-fire stand-up sets from aspiring comedians with critiques from Hinchcliffe and a panel of guests, according to a WWE press release. The show is expected to include WWE Superstars and Legends, established comedians, and surprise celebrity appearances.
This marks a return for Hinchcliffe to WrestleMania weekend, but in a different capacity than last year. According to Cageside Seats, WWE previously partnered with Hinchcliffe for a roast during WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, an event that drew some controversy due to audio leaks and questions about whether all participants were comfortable with the material. This year, WWE is opting for a special edition of Hinchcliffe’s “Kill Tony” podcast and Netflix show, rather than a roast.
Tickets for “KILL TONY: WrestleMania” will go on sale Tuesday, March 24, at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster.com. A presale is available starting today, March 23, at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT on the same website. VIP upgrade meet-and-greet tickets, offering an opportunity to meet WWE Superstars, will also be available in limited quantities.
The partnership between WWE and Hinchcliffe comes as both entities continue to collaborate on projects, including through their shared relationship with Netflix, as noted by Cageside Seats. The event is being held in partnership with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA).
“KILL TONY: WrestleMania” is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. PT on April 18, allowing attendees to travel from Allegiant Stadium, the site of WrestleMania Saturday, to Dolby Live at Park MGM.
