Kia PV5 Launch Marked by Immediate €2,500 Discount
PARIS – Kia’s newly released PV5 electric minivan is hitting dealerships with an immediate €2,500 price reduction, making the spacious and well-equipped vehicle even more competitive in the growing EV market. The discount applies to all trims and requires no special conditions.
The PV5, recently arriving in showrooms, starts at €37,050 with the 51.5 kWh battery, offering a range of 288 km. This pricing undercuts comparable models like the Renault Kangoo, which begins at €37,500 for a 285 km range, but lacks the kia’s DC fast-charging capability. The PV5 boasts 150 kW DC charging alongside a bidirectional 11 kW AC charger enabling V2L (vehicle-to-load) and V2G (vehicle-to-grid) functionality.
Kia is offering a version with a 71.2 kWh battery, providing a 400 km WLTP range, priced from €41,050.
Standard features on the base model include a 12.9-inch touchscreen navigation system, adaptive cruise control, a reversing camera, a heated steering wheel, and hands-free access – a level of equipment that currently surpasses French competitors. The 4.69-meter long minivan offers ample space for five passengers and boasts a 1,330-liter trunk.
