Kevin Woo, the singer, songwriter, and actor who lent his voice to the breakout success KPop Demon Hunters, has signed with UTA for worldwide representation in all areas. The move comes as Woo expands his career beyond his K-pop roots and into film and stage, capitalizing on the momentum of the Netflix animated phenomenon.
KPop Demon Hunters, which has garnered over 315 million views and currently ranks as Netflix’s most-watched film of all time, propelled Woo’s vocal performance as Mystery Saja of the fictional group The Saja Boys into the spotlight. The film follows Huntrix, a K-pop girl group who secretly battle underworld monsters, and has sparked a viral trend on TikTok with real-life K-pop groups recreating The Saja Boys.
The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack, featuring The Saja Boys’ tracks “Your Idol” and “Soda Pop,” reached the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart. Discussions are underway between Netflix and Sony Animation regarding a potential sequel.UTA also represents Maggie Kang, the creator and co-director of KPop Demon Hunters, and Rei Ami, the voice of Huntrix.
Woo first gained recognition as a member of the six-member K-pop group U-Kiss,which debuted in South Korea in 2008. He later transitioned to musical theater, appearing in the original Broadway cast of KPOP in 2022.
He is set to perform his first U.S. solo show at the Troubadour in West Hollywood on November 25 and will also appear in Anderson.paak’s directorial debut, K-Pops, slated for theatrical release in January 2026. Woo is managed by Mono Music Group for music and Atlas Artists for acting.
