Kevin Nash Praises Brock Lesnar’s Generosity Ahead of WrestleMania 42 Match with Oba Femi
WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash publicly praised Brock Lesnar’s willingness to elevate other wrestlers, even as Lesnar prepares to face Oba Femi at WrestleMania 42 on April 12th.
Nash, speaking on his “Kliq This” podcast, reacted to a recent segment on WWE Raw where Femi struck Lesnar and posed over him. Nash described Lesnar as “the most giving motherf***er on the planet,” adding, “He’s just not a f***ing mark. There’s nothing about that guy that’s a f***ing mark. I guess when you’re one of the baddest motherf***ers on earth, [you have nothing to prove].”
The comments arrive as Lesnar is scheduled to compete against Femi at WrestleMania 42, a match that began to materialize after Lesnar issued an open challenge on the February 23rd, 2026 edition of Monday Night RAW, according to reports. Femi, a former two-time NXT Champion, was called up to the main WWE roster earlier this year and recently defeated Rusev on Raw.
Nash suggested that Femi should defeat a smaller opponent leading up to WrestleMania to further showcase his offensive capabilities. “Either way it’s going to f***ing sell, though,” Nash said. “If I’m Brock Lesnar and I have to make somebody to make them worthy of a WrestleMania match and I’m probably going to get a $2.5-3 million payday out of it, I’m pretty sure I’m making somebody.”
The build to Lesnar versus Femi began at the Royal Rumble in January with a face-off intended to gauge fan reaction. Rumors have circulated regarding Lesnar’s potential retirement, with SummerSlam in Minneapolis this August being discussed as a possible final match location.
The dynamic between Lesnar and potential opponents has been a topic of discussion within WWE, with some suggesting matches against Gunther or Oba Femi. However, concerns have been raised that Lesnar is reluctant to lose matches, potentially complicating plans for WrestleMania 42. A recent discussion within WWE creative even considered a match between Lesnar and LA Knight, but that idea was reportedly abandoned due to a lack of fan interest.
