Following the incident, Vijay expressed his condolences via social media, stating: “My sincere condolences and all my sympathy to the families of our dear brothers and sisters who lost their lives in the Karur district.” He also shared a message on X (formerly Twitter) describing his heartbreak and offering sympathies to the bereaved families.
