Chilean TV Personality Karol Lucero Addresses Infidelity, Vows Duty if Paternity Claim is Confirmed
Santiago, Chile – Chilean television personality Karol Lucero publicly addressed allegations of infidelity against his wife, Fran Virgilio, admitting to a relationship with DJ Isi glock. The confession came during an appearance on the Mega network program Only Fama this Friday, following days of mounting public scrutiny sparked by claims made by Glock. Lucero stated he would take a DNA test if Glock were to become pregnant and,if confirmed,”take responsibility.”
The scandal erupted after Ilaisa Henríquez, a DJ from the city of Penco, revealed details of the affair, alleging it occurred approximately two weeks ago at the offices of Like Media. Henríquez, who performs as DJ Isi Glock, told Chilean media outlet Foreground that the encounters were unprotected and that Lucero afterward suggested she take emergency contraception. She has since indicated she did not, and has not ruled out the possibility of pregnancy.
During the Only Fama interview, Lucero was directly questioned about the potential for a child resulting from the affair. “If she were, in a hypothetical case, that one should not do it, but I will answer your question, I have to do two things. There are only two things that are what I have to do,” Lucero stated. He elaborated, “One is asking for a DNA test to see if it is true, and the second, if it is true, take responsibility.”
Lucero also addressed claims made by Henríquez regarding inconsistencies in her account, specifically concerning the use of contraception and allegations of him being with other individuals. “Lies are repeated those that have passed,” he said, adding that he has not spoken to Henríquez since the story broke.
He further emphasized his accountability for his actions, stating, ”In my personal life here I screwed it up… If that was her mobile, if she was looking to be in that (…) I don’t even judge her, because here the marriage is me.”
