Medellín’s Planetario will host a special laser show set to the music of Karol G on March 13, according to an announcement made Tuesday.
The event, scheduled from 6:00 p.m. To 10:00 p.m., was selected following a public poll organized by the Planetario, demonstrating the Colombian singer’s enduring popularity in her hometown. Tickets are priced at 65,000 Colombian pesos and include a beverage and souvenir.
Karol G, a prominent figure in the urban music scene, maintains a strong connection to Medellín, the city of her birth. The show arrives during a brief pause in her active touring schedule, offering fans a unique way to experience her music.
Beyond music, Karol G has recently expanded her entrepreneurial ventures within Medellín. In 2024, she opened three establishments – Provenza, CAROLINA, and El Callejón del Gato – reflecting her diverse interests and a desire to contribute to the city’s cultural landscape. She described the venues as a tribute to experiences gathered while traveling, blended with Colombian culture, according to a social media post announcing their launch.
Further solidifying her presence in the city, Karol G launched an immersive Airbnb experience in June 2025, titled “Experience the Tropicoqueta Vibe,” inspired by her album of the same name. The event, held on a rooftop transformed into a tropical oasis, offered 24 fans an exclusive evening of music and activities, including performances by Los Tomate’s, a favorite orchestra of the artist.
