Reality television star Kandi Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, are separating, sources confirm to TMZ. The split marks a meaningful change for the long-time couple, known for their roles on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and various spin-off series.
Burruss and Tucker began dating in 2011 after meeting on the set of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” tucker proposed in 2013,and the pair wed in 2014 in a ceremony inspired by the film “Coming to America.” The couple share two children: son Ace, age 9, and daughter Blaze, who will turn 6 tomorrow. The reasons for the separation remain unclear, but sources indicate Burruss is currently preparing for a demanding professional commitment.
Burruss is scheduled to star in the Broadway production of “& Juliet,” beginning next month and continuing through early march.sources say her performances will not be impacted by the split.
