The shift in strategy comes as Juventus anticipates retaining striker Dusan Vlahovic, whose €12 million net annual salary represents a significant financial commitment for the club, at least until January and potentially for the entire campaign.
Initial discussions regarding Muani involved a potential obligation to buy, but Juventus is now seeking a “dry loan” – a loan without any purchase obligation – and potentially even foregoing an option to buy altogether.This adjustment is largely driven by financial Fair Play considerations and the financial strain of Vlahovic’s salary.
Sky Italia transfer reporter Gianluca Di Marzio described the revised offer as “a very expensive loan with an obligation linked to certain conditions,” though the specifics of those conditions remain unclear due to fluctuating negotiation terms.
