South Korean singer-songwriter and producer JUNNY has been elevated to full membership status within the Korea Music Copyright Association (KMCA), signaling recognition of his growing influence in the nation’s music industry. The KMCA announced JUNNY’s inclusion in its list of 30 modern full members on January 30, 2026.

The KMCA, responsible for managing and protecting the copyright assets of music creators in South Korea, selects full members annually based on a combination of membership duration and royalty earnings. JUNNY’s promotion reflects his increasing contributions to the K-Pop landscape, according to the KMCA.

JUNNY has established himself as a prominent figure in the K-Pop songwriting and production scene, having contributed to hits by artists including IU (“Doll Song”), EXO’s Kai (“Mmmh”), and NCT DREAM (“ANL” and “Now”). As a recording artist, he has released two studio albums, blanc and null, alongside numerous EPs and singles, cultivating a distinct musical identity.

Beyond his solo work, JUNNY has collaborated with a diverse range of artists, both domestically and internationally, including Dynamic Duo, Chungha, Levent Geiger, and Pink Sweat$. In 2025, he was featured as a Spotify “RADAR Korea” artist, and subsequently embarked on a successful tour spanning Europe, North America, Asia, and South America, which is ongoing as of February 10, 2026.

JUNNY is scheduled to continue his musical and performance activities throughout 2026, according to his agency, MOVMCOMP.
