Augusta, Georgia – jon Rahm, the reigning Masters champion, shared his thoughts on a challenging moment during the first round of the Masters Tournament on april 10, 2025. After a tough hole, Rahm expressed his frustration but maintained a composed perspective on the nature of professional golf.

“I think I just used the moment to let out any tension I had in me,” Rahm stated. “Really that’s not – it is what it is. To be honest, it problably didn’t affect as much as I made it sound like.It was a bad swing as well. Just a difficult hole.”

The 30-year-old golfer, who entered the tournament following a second-place finish at LIV Golf‘s event in Spain, acknowledged the inherent difficulties of the sport. “I mean,it’s frustrating, but it is what it is. It’s an everyday thing in golf,” Rahm concluded.

Rahm’s previous strong performances include a tie for the runner-up spot at The Open in 2023 and his victory at the U.S. Open in 2021. His most recent major championship win was at the Masters Tournament in 2023.
