Miloš Petrášek, a prominent Czech mixed martial artist, has announced his intention to retire following one final fight. The announcement came as Petrášek actively pursues a bout on the upcoming OCTAGON 79 card, scheduled for November 1st in Brno.
Petrášek’s decision marks the end of an era for the fighter, who has become a fan favorite within the domestic MMA scene. While acknowledging the difficulty of securing a spot on the highly competitive O2 Arena card, he remains determined to compete before hanging up his gloves. He openly admitted to hoping for an opportunity to arise due to potential injuries to other fighters,stating,”I’m tired of wrestling,but that doesn’t mean I can’t jump in one more time. I want to walk down that aisle thinking it’s the last time. I will try my best.”
Petrášek is currently in negotiations wiht the OCTAGON promotion to finalize his farewell match, ideally slated for late this year or early next.
