Jim gaffigan Launches ‘Live from Old Forester: The Bourbon Set’ Comedy Special ⁣on YouTube

Louisville, KY – Comedian Jim‌ Gaffigan has released his latest stand-up special, Live from Old Forester: The Bourbon Set, directly to YouTube. Filmed at The Kentucky Center for⁣ the Performing Arts, the special showcases Gaffigan’s material inspired‍ by his growing passion for bourbon, a pursuit that led to the 2024 launch of his own ⁣small-batch bourbon, Fathertime.

gaffigan,⁣ a multi-platinum ‍recording artist and eight-time Grammy nominee, developed Fathertime Bourbon with college friend Stu Pollard. The ⁤high-rye⁤ Kentucky bourbon, named ⁤for “the occasional‍ brief period of peace and reflection every hardworking father earns,” features a label honoring ⁢Gaffigan’s paternal grandfather and is released in small batches each spring and fall.

“Stand up is ⁣all self-assignment,” Gaffigan stated. “With Live from Old Forester: The‍ Bourbon Set I let my love of bourbon lead the way. At this point I’m not sure if bourbon is a ⁤passion or a mid-life crisis but I love it. Since this was such a niche endeavor ⁤I didn’t even go to a big streamer. I just wanted to get this material out⁣ there for the‌ other bourbon geeks.”

Mike Lavin directed The ‌Bourbon Set, ⁣produced by Stu pollard, ‍with Jim Gaffigan, Jeannie⁣ Gaffigan, and‍ Alex Murray serving as executive⁣ producers. Production companies involved include Chimichanga Productions, 3 Nuts Studios,⁣ and Lunacy Unlimited.

Gaffigan’s eleventh special, The Skinny, premiered on Hulu last winter as the streamer’s frist original stand-up special under⁢ its Hularious banner, and has since amassed nearly 100 million clip views online. He is currently on his “Everything is ⁣Marvelous Tour.”

Gaffigan is represented by ‍UTA,brillstein‍ Entertainment Partners, and Schreck Rose Dapello.
