JCD Groupe Hosts French Basketball Federation for Workplace Wellness Event
lorraine, France – The French Basketball Federation (FFBB) brought its progress program to JCD Groupe headquarters this tuesday, offering employees a day of basketball-inspired activities designed to promote well-being in the workplace. The event, hosted by JCD Groupe CEO Jean-Christophe Accorsi, underscores a growing trend of companies investing in employee health and utilizing innovative approaches to foster a positive work environment.
Accorsi,whose company boasts 90 employees and recently constructed a gymnasium on-site,believes prioritizing well-being is paramount. The FFBB’s visit provided a practical exhibition of how basketball principles – beyond competitive play – can be integrated into daily routines. Jackie Blanc Gonnet,director of the FFBB development centre,emphasized the program’s goal: to showcase basketball’s adaptability for all fitness levels and environments,from offices and meeting rooms to dedicated athletic spaces.
Throughout the day, the FFBB offered exercises focused on game-based learning, versatility, balance, and concentration to a dozen participating employees. Later sessions, leveraging JCD Groupe’s gymnasium, featured more physically demanding activities.
The Federal Basket business Commission also convened at JCD Groupe, joined by Jean-Pierre Hunckler, and concluded the day with a amiable basketball challenge involving company partners and employees, organized by the Moselle departmental committee. The event highlighted the FFBB’s commitment to expanding basketball’s reach beyond customary sporting contexts and into the corporate world.
