Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis to Perform in Fayetteville
The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, led by wynton Marsalis, will perform at the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on Monday night. The performance features music from alexa Tarantino‘s recently released album, “The Roar and The Whisper.”
Tarantino, speaking on Ozarks at Large, described a deliberate approach to the album’s creation, aiming for a cohesive listening experience reminiscent of classic albums. ”I definitely tried to write the original pieces in a way that they were all connected, but that they could still stand strong on their own,” Tarantino said. “It was just about that flow of emotion…how do I want the listener to feel on that journey from beginning to end?”
