EDMONTON — Teh Edmonton Oilers made it clear they weren’t trading Connor Ingram, and tristan Jarry quickly reinforced his own position with the team.
Saturday marked the deadline for sending Ingram to the AHL without waivers. The oilers considered the move to avoid carrying three goalies,including backup Calvin pickard. However, GM Stan Bowman recognized Ingram’s strong recent performance and decided to keep him with the team, allowing him to rest before Sunday’s game against St. Louis.
