Jaguars to Play 2 NFL Home Games in London in 2026 | NFL International Schedule

February 25, 2026 Alex Carter - Sports Editor Sport

The Jacksonville Jaguars will play two home games in London in October 2026, marking the first time an NFL team has hosted two international “home” games in a single season. The announcement, made Tuesday, also confirmed the Washington Commanders will host a game in London that year, bringing the total number of NFL games scheduled for London to three.

Jacksonville’s games will be played at both Wembley Stadium and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the NFL’s official home in Britain. The Commanders will play at Tottenham. Specific dates and opponents have not yet been announced.

The Jaguars’ decision to play two games across the Atlantic comes as EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville undergoes significant renovations that will reduce seating capacity to 42,507 during the 2026 season. The team will be fully displaced from Jacksonville in 2027, with the majority of their home games slated to be played in Orlando, potentially allowing them to host up to three international home games that year, according to reports.

This isn’t the first time the Jaguars have embraced London as a second home. They have played an NFL-leading 14 games in London since 2013, compiling a 7-7 record. The team previously played consecutive games in London in both 2023 and 2024, though those series included both home and away designations. In 2023, Jacksonville defeated both the Atlanta Falcons and the Buffalo Bills in London. In 2024, they split games against the Chicago Bears and the New England Patriots, and lost to the Los Angeles Rams at Wembley Stadium.

“My immediate takeaway was London is undoubtedly our home away from home,” Jaguars coach Liam Coen said. “We have a passionate and knowledgeable fan base in London, built over time and still growing, and we’re making a positive impact with fans throughout the United Kingdom as well.”

The Commanders have a more limited history playing internationally, with two previous overseas appearances. They played to a 27-27 tie against the Cincinnati Bengals in 2016 and lost to the Miami Dolphins in overtime in Madrid last year, marking the NFL’s first game played in the Spanish capital.

The three London games are part of a larger NFL initiative to expand its international presence. In total, the league has scheduled a record nine international games for 2026, spanning four continents, seven countries, and eight stadiums. The San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams are scheduled to play in Australia, with the 49ers also hosting a game in Mexico. The Detroit Lions will host a game in Germany, the New Orleans Saints in France, and the Dallas Cowboys in Brazil. The location for a game in Spain has yet to be determined.
