British number one Jack Draper has withdrawn from forthcoming tournaments in Toronto and Cincinnati because of an arm injury.
The 23-year-old British tennis star is targeting a return to the court at the US Open, which is scheduled to begin on August 24. Draper, who reached the US Open semi-finals in 2024, revealed on social media that he sustained an injury in his left arm following Wimbledon. He emphasized that the injury is not serious but requires adequate recovery time to ensure he is fit for the remainder of the season.
The Canadian open is set to commence on July 26, followed by the Cincinnati Open, which starts on August 4.Draper’s withdrawal from these events marks a significant setback for his summer hardcourt campaign.
