Brigitte Macron Plans Post-Élysée Return too Teaching, Focus on Adult Education
Paris, France – Despite calls for President Emmanuel Macron to resign, first Lady Brigitte Macron is already looking ahead to life after the Élysée Palace, with plans to return to her passion: teaching. She intends to continue her work with the institute of Vocations for Employment (Live) and resume a teaching role after her husband’s term ends in 2027.
This announcement offers a glimpse into the First lady’s future and underscores her commitment to education, especially for adults seeking to re-enter the workforce. The Live initiative, co-founded with Bernard Arnault in 2019, provides training and support for individuals aged 25 and over, addressing a critical need for skills development and employment opportunities. Macron’s continued involvement signals a sustained dedication to this demographic and the program’s mission.
In an interview with Gala magazine, Macron stated, “I see myself continuing to take care of Live after 2027. I will never stop teaching. I really don’t want to. Its something that’s in me. It’s very structuring.” This declaration confirms her intention to remain actively engaged in education beyond her time at the Élysée.
The Live program currently operates six campuses across France, including one in Marseille, which the First Lady visited on September 24th. During the visit, she connected with students like Sarah, 30, who expressed how macron’s dedication is a source of encouragement. “Seeing her devote so much time to us,it boosts our morale,” Sarah told reporters.
Established in 2019, Live aims to equip adult learners with the skills necessary to navigate the modern job market, frequently enough requiring participants to undertake additional training. Macron’s future involvement promises continued support for this vital initiative and a renewed focus on empowering individuals to achieve their professional goals.
