Market activity on September 26 recorded an absolute price low of 66.61 euros per megawatt-hour during the first hour of the day. By the third hour, prices surged to a peak of 267.51 euros per megawatt-hour, establishing a wide hourly spread of 200.90 euros per megawatt-hour. Total traded volumes on the MGP platform reached 705.109 megawatt-hours for the session.
The single-day drop offset the recent seven-day rolling average, which stood higher at 203.47 euros per megawatt-hour. Even with this downward correction, the month-to-date average for September 2026 remained anchored precisely at 178.60 euros per megawatt-hour, mirroring the latest daily settlement.

Geographic pricing fragmentation defined the session, with northern nodes carrying a significant premium over southern delivery points.
