Hadjar Qualifies Fifth in sao Paulo, Vows All-Out Effort for Racing Bulls Points Finish
Sao Paulo, Brazil – Isack Hadjar will start Sunday’s Brazilian Grand Prix from fifth position after a strong qualifying performance at Interlagos, promising a full-throttle effort to secure crucial points for Racing Bulls. The promising result comes as the team aims to maximize its position in the constructors’ championship battle.
Hadjar’s fifth-place qualifying position represents a important opportunity for Racing Bulls, notably as they face competition from faster cars.”Obviously they are faster cars,” Hadjar conceded, emphasizing the challenge ahead. “But we’ll give it everything, fight them at the start and then try and score big points – we need it.” The team is currently locked in a tight contest for points with rivals, making every position and potential finish vital.
Liam Lawson also delivered a positive result for Racing Bulls, qualifying seventh after a difficult Sprint race earlier in the day. Lawson described his qualifying session as “good,” noting the strong pace despite losing time on his lap. “It’s positive, obviously we’re going to always analyze the details, and we lost a little bit of time in the lap and it’s definitely cost us a good few positions,” he said. “But when it’s this close in thes kind of conditions,I think probably everybody’s got that story,so a decent place for tomorrow.”
Both drivers are focused on adding to the team’s points tally in sunday’s race. Lawson, 23, stated the clear objective: “Try to score points – that’s the target, honestly. It’s both cars in Q3 obviously which puts us in a good position, so we’ll definitely give it a good shot.” The Brazilian grand Prix is set to take place at Interlagos.
