Marana, AZ – Ironwood Elementary students in 5th and 6th grade are set to benefit from a new, dedicated learning space currently under construction. The building will replace the existing portable classrooms used by these grade levels, offering a permanent and improved facility.
the new structure will provide students with essential amenities currently lacking in the portable classrooms, including running water and interior bathrooms, alongside updated technology. This project focuses on enhancing the learning surroundings for existing students, rather than accommodating enrollment growth.
Facility Upgrade Funded by Voters
Funding for the new building stems from Proposition 491, a measure approved by local voters to support district-wide school facility improvements.
