A new mural in central Tehran warns the US against a military strike on Iran.
The artwork depicts damaged planes on an aircraft carrier, displaying the slogan “If you sow the wind, you will reap the whirlwind” in both Farsi and English.
This unveiling in Enghelab Square follows a statement from a senior Iranian official, who said any attack would be considered “as an all-out war against us”. This came as a US aircraft carrier and warships moved toward the region.
Enghelab Square is frequently enough used for state-sponsored gatherings, and its murals are regularly updated to reflect current national events.
