Inside Zygmunt Chajzer’s Home and Garden Sanctuary

September 3, 2026 Julia Evans – Entertainment Editor Entertainment

Zygmunt Chajzer’s Suburban Sanctuary Behind the Villa Walls

Zygmunt Chajzer has spent decades anchoring Poland’s airwaves. Away from the studio lights, the veteran television and radio personality has cultivated a private suburban sanctuary behind his family villa.

Outlets including Jastrząb Post and Pomponik have chronicled the broadcaster’s domestic life. While maintaining a high-profile career dating back to the early 1980s with Polskie Radio, Chajzer protects his personal boundaries while occasionally sharing glimpses of his routines on Instagram alongside his wife, Dorota.

Inside the Hearth and Verdant Garden Grounds

The property serves a dual purpose. It acts as a private retreat and an active communal space.

According to coverage from Pomponik, the interior features large potted floral arrangements and expansive orange sofas designed for family gatherings. A hearth decorated for the winter holidays sits alongside the family dog. Outdoors, a verdant garden functions as a hands-on workspace for the presenter, who maintains the grounds himself by pruning ornamental trees and clearing seasonal foliage.

Opening Doors During Times of Crisis

Domestic stability underpins a broader ethos of hospitality. Media profiles note that the household has repeatedly opened its doors during times of crisis.

Chajzer provided long-term housing for four women and two children displaced by the armed conflict in Ukraine. He also offered ongoing personal and domestic support to an orphaned family who lost their parents in a vehicular accident.

Four Decades Across Polish Radio and Television

Chajzer launched his broadcasting tenure in the early 1980s at Program I Polskiego Radia.

There, he steered foundational cultural broadcasts including Sygnały Dnia, Lato z Radiem, and Cztery Pory Roku. His transition to commercial television in the 1990s cemented his brand equity through game show syndication on Polsat, most notably via the licensing and adaptation formats of Idź na całość. By the year 2000, his portfolio expanded to TVN before establishing a long-running presence in morning radio broadcasting at Radio Pogoda starting in 2015.

Enduring Cultural Relevance in a Changing Media Era

The Chajzer estate stands as a physical manifestation of that endurance—balancing commercial television history with a private, hands-on domestic refuge.
