GAZA CRISIS: A three-year-old boy named Hasan, weighing just 6kg – significantly underweight for his age – was treated by American doctor Dr. Adil Husain at Nasser Hospital in Gaza.Dr. Husain, who spent two weeks at the facility, stated that Hasan required specialized nutritional feeds that were reportedly available at the border but were being prevented from entering Gaza due to blockades, which he described as “intentional and intentional starvation.” Hasan passed away two days after his examination. Dr. Husain characterized the situation as a “man-made starvation” and a “man-made crisis,” emphasizing it’s preventability. Israel has stated it has not identified starvation as a factor in the region.
