Inga Žuolytė Opens Up After “Star Duets” Exit: “The Duo is Impossible With one Person’s desire”

Lithuanian influencer Inga Žuolytė addressed her recent elimination from the popular singing competition Star Duets, sharing candid reflections on the experiance and the challenges she faced within her partnership. Žuolytė, who was the frist contestant voted off the show, took to Instagram following the news, a post she afterward shared with the news portal People.lt.

Žuolytė expressed gratitude to the entire production team, acknowledging the project’s difficulties stemming from a perceived lack of motivation from her duet partner. “I beleive that everyone who goes to such a project has their own motives, why do it, but I just want to live this life cheerfully, to accept their unusual opportunities, to try everything and eventually have fun with my friends, even if I have failed,” she wrote.

She extended thanks to the vocal coaches, whom she described as “the onyl pillar of my musical [journey] in this project,” as well as the show’s participants, judges, and behind-the-scenes crew for their support during filming. Žuolytė also highlighted the unwavering support of her family, who she said learned all the songs from her rehearsals, and her friend Rolanda Simonavičiūtė, who offered to create costumes for every performance. She further appreciated friends who consistently gathered to watch her appearances on television and the audience’s understanding.

Despite her disappointment at being the first to leave the competition, Žuolytė maintained a positive outlook. “It is sad to fall first, especially when I could not show up as I wanted to be part of the project, but the duo cannot exist with only one person’s desire and motivation to participate in the project,” she stated. She emphasized the value of learning from challenging experiences, celebrating the fact that she, as a “non-singing person,” had the chance to perform on a widely-watched television channel for a month.

Žuolytė concluded her post with a message of encouragement, writing, “I believe that a fun beautiful girl will stop more than one of her performance, only then she will listen to her heart more.”
