Indigenous Peoples’ Day March & Concert in Rapid City

Seattle, ‍WA – NDN​ Collective will host a multi-artist⁤ party of⁣ Indigenous resilience⁤ and cultural expression on Indigenous Peoples’ Day, October 13, 2025. The⁣ event promises‌ a dynamic lineup encompassing music, comedy,⁢ spoken word, film, ​and​ traditional performance, aiming to amplify Indigenous​ voices and foster community.

The​ annual gathering, known as NDN ‍LIVE,⁤ provides a platform for⁤ Indigenous artists⁤ and performers while offering a powerful ⁢counter-narrative to the historical ⁤erasure of Native peoples. With increasing recognition of Indigenous Peoples’ Day as a vital option to Columbus Day, NDN Collective’s event seeks to center Indigenous perspectives and promote self-determination. The 2025 iteration will feature performances ⁢by Mic‌ Jordan, Isaac Tonasket, Santee Witt, Nanibaah, and Hawane Rios, alongside a special performance from ⁢Macklemore.

The ‍event’s diverse program also ​includes spoken‍ word artists Autumn White Eyes and Pte San ‍Win, ⁣a comedy set by Jana Schmieding, and⁤ a short animation film⁤ screening of “POW!” by Joey Clift. WillieMaze will provide DJ services,and the Blackstone Singers will deliver​ a traditional drum‌ performance.‌

NDN Collective ‌will broadcast the event live across its digital ⁢platforms ⁤for those unable to attend in person. Further details regarding the event’s location and specific schedule will be released closer to the date.
