Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Launches on Nintendo Switch 2
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has officially launched on the Nintendo Switch 2 eShop today, May 12, 2026. The release of the first-person, single-player adventure marks the title’s arrival on the new hardware, accompanied by the debut of a launch trailer.
Developed by MachineGames Sweden AB and published by ZeniMax Media Inc., the game is set in 1937. The narrative takes place between the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade, following Indiana Jones as he races against sinister forces to uncover the secrets of an ancient power connected to the Great Circle.
The gameplay experience integrates stealth infiltration, melee combat and gunplay. A central mechanic involves the use of Indiana Jones’s signature whip, which serves as both a combat tool to distract, disarm, and attack enemies and a primary instrument for environmental navigation. Players can use the whip to scale walls and swing over patrols as they move through the game’s various settings.
The adventure spans several global locations, including the Vatican, the pyramids of Egypt, the sunken temples of Sukhothai, and the halls of Marshall College. The project was executive produced by Todd Howard.
The title is currently available for digital download through the Nintendo Switch 2 eShop.
