Following a traffic accident in Bodrum, Turkey, the children of singer İbrahim Tatlıses, İdo Tatlıses and Melek Zübeyde, requested a detailed accounting of their father’s assets, according to statements made by Tatlıses’s former manager, Şule Yazar.
Yazar, speaking on a television program, stated that İdo and Melek Zübeyde sought a comprehensive list of both movable and immovable property. “They wanted to learn the list of assets. They were already heading towards such a conversation when the accident happened,” Yazar said, as reported by Güneş newspaper on February 25, 2026. The accident, she added, prevented the initial meeting, but a subsequent gathering was held at Tatlıses’s home, including other children, where a request for a written inventory of his holdings was made.
The request for a detailed accounting comes after Tatlıses was involved in a traffic collision in Bodrum. Yazar indicated that the asset review was initiated in the wake of the accident, according to a report in Milliyet.
While the precise value of İbrahim Tatlıses’s net worth has not been officially disclosed, it is understood to extend beyond income from his music career to include substantial real estate investments. These holdings include hotels, villas, land and apartments in several Turkish cities, including Istanbul, İzmir, Bodrum, Kuşadası, and Şanlıurfa. Specific assets mentioned include a waterfront hotel in Bodrum, a 48-unit residential complex in the same location, and a large hotel in Kuşadası, as reported by Sabah newspaper.
Yazar likewise revealed that her departure from Tatlıses’s management team stemmed from disagreements over a hotel project, alleging that her requests related to the project were not met. She did not elaborate on the specifics of the dispute.
