Ian Lucas Wins MasterChef Celebrity Argentina: Final Results & Highlights
Ian Lucas was crowned the winner of MasterChef Celebrity Argentina on Thursday evening, March 19, 2026, defeating Sofía “La Reini” Gonet in a closely contested final, according to reports from Infobae and Radiosudamericana.
The final challenge, broadcast on Telefe, required Lucas and Gonet to create a three-course menu – an appetizer, main course, and dessert – to impress the judges: Donato de Santis, Damián Betular, and Germán Martitegui. The competition culminated after five months of challenges featuring 24 celebrities, San Juan 8 reported.
Lucas drew inspiration from his childhood for his menu, presenting a fainá with provolone, roasted peppers, and marinated anchovies as his appetizer. His main course was a Tomahawk steak with homemade linguine and garlic butter, and he concluded with a rice pudding featuring caramelized bananas, strawberry coulis, and fresh blueberries with lemon syrup. Radiosudamericana detailed the dishes.
Gonet’s menu showcased Argentine flavors, featuring raw Patagonian trout with a northern-style criolla sauce and Torrontés vinaigrette. Her main course consisted of scallops with a corn purée and cheese and pepper sauce, and she finished with a fig brûlée with English cream and sablé textures, dulce de leche cream, and meringue.
The final episode averaged 17.6 rating points in its first half and 15.4 in the second, according to ratings data cited by Infobae. The semifinal, which eliminated Maxi López and Claudio “Turco” Husaín, achieved 15.5 points.
The program’s finale began at 9:35 PM local time, following the Telefe Noticias broadcast, with a rating of 12.3 points. As Wanda Nara announced the end of the cooking time, the rating climbed to 15.7 points. The highest rating of the night peaked at 20.2 points.
The winner received a trophy and a prize of 50 million pesos, along with a complete kitchen and dining set, including appliances, furniture, and tableware, from Frávega, Radiosudamericana reported.
Prior to the final, the competition had consistently maintained an average rating of two digits, exceeding the performance of 80% of open-broadcast television programs, Infobae noted.
