Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish RPG Survival Horror Game Revealed
“Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish” Announced for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC
NACON and Teyon announced a fully 3D adaptation of the tabletop role-playing game Hunter: The Reckoning during the Xbox Partner Preview event on March 26, 2026. The game, titled Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish, will be set in Modern York City, presenting a seemingly normal metropolis concealing hidden dangers, according to a press release.
Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish casts players as Hunters, individuals tasked with confronting supernatural threats. The narrative centers on a character seeking a fresh start in New York, only to identify themselves haunted by a dark past. The game emphasizes that non-player characters (NPCs) possess complex motivations and vulnerabilities, requiring players to carefully consider who to trust and with whom to forge alliances.
Players will be able to customize their characters and shape their experience within the game. Progress is tied to uncovering clues, which will provide advantages in combat. The game offers a variety of weapons, ranging from baseball bats and bare-handed combat to firearms. Players are warned to prepare for unpredictable events, mirroring the unpredictable nature of the original tabletop game, according to the developers.

The game is scheduled for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2027. Interested players can visit the Steam store page to learn more and add the game to their wishlist. According to a statement from NACON, further updates will be released as development progresses.
