HT Education Desk: Exams, Jobs, Study Abroad & Education News
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared the results of the Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class 12 examinations on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, providing access to scores via its official website, cisce.org, and a dedicated results portal at results.cisce.org.
Students accessing their results are required to input their unique ID, index number, and a captcha code, according to the Hindustan Times report. The examinations themselves were conducted between February 13 and April 5, 2025.
Established in 1958, the CISCE is a privately held, national-level board responsible for administering the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) for Class X and the ISC examination for Class XII, currently affiliating over 2,600 schools both within India and internationally, as detailed on the CISCE website. The Council’s governing structure includes representation from the Government of India, State Governments, and educational associations.
The announcement follows the release of the ICSE (Class 10) results earlier in April 2025. The Hindustan Times Digital Streams – Education Desk, led by News Editor Nilesh Mathur, a journalist with 24 years of experience, has been tracking these developments as part of its comprehensive coverage of board exams, and results.
The Education Desk at Hindustan Times Digital Streams also provides updates on competitive exams like the UPSC, JEE, and NEET, as well as employment news, study abroad opportunities, and scholarship information. The team, which includes Deputy Chief Content Producers Papri Chanda and Gaurav Sarma, and Senior Content Producer Bishal, aims to serve as a trusted resource for students, job seekers, and educators.
On March 23, 2026, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) will conduct the Tier I exam of the CEPTAM 2026 recruitment process, with a mock test already available on its official website, drdo.gov.in. This exam is separate from the CISCE results, but represents another key event in the education and employment landscape currently being covered by the Hindustan Times Education Desk.
In December 2025, the CISCE also announced revisions to the syllabus for Classes 11 and 12, though specific details of those changes remain to be fully disseminated.
