HSE Training & Compliance: Hygiene, Safety & Administration

Italian firm ENEA is expanding its offerings of workplace health and safety training courses, responding to ongoing requirements under Legislative Decree 81/2008 and subsequent amendments. The courses, detailed on the ENEA Corsi di formazione website, aim to ensure compliance with Italian safety regulations.

ENEA’s initiative comes as other organizations also focus on workplace safety certification. SA Sicurezza, an accredited training provider, offers both online and in-person courses covering safety and food hygiene, including HACCP certification. The company, accredited by the Lazio Region (n° G10478), emphasizes the importance of updated training materials and expert instructors. According to customer reviews posted on their website, SA Sicurezza received an “Excellent” Trustindex rating as of October 8, 2024, with one customer specifically praising the clarity of their HACCP 2nd level course.

Sikurezza & Igiene is another company providing safety and hygiene training, offering courses both in dedicated facilities and directly at client locations. The firm recently launched a new online platform for course booking, aiming to streamline access to training for businesses. Their stated vision is to “spread the culture of safety in companies through effective training, focused on preventing accidents,” with a goal of “0 accidents.”

The Inail (National Institute for Insurance against Accidents at Work) also provides training, including courses designed to equip workers to fulfill the role of the Representative of the Workers for Safety, specifically within the Public Administration sector, as mandated by Legislative Decree 81/08 and its amendments. A catalog of Inail’s 2024 training programs is available as a PDF document on the Inail website.

These developments reflect a continued emphasis on workplace safety compliance across Italy, with multiple organizations offering training solutions to meet the demands of Legislative Decree 81/2008 and related regulations.
