LINCOLN, NE – November ⁣25, 2023 – The Nebraska high school football playoffs concluded⁢ this weekend, crowning state champions in all classes. Here’s a look at how the top 10 teams, as ranked in the final regular season Omaha World-Herald poll, performed:

Class A

  1. Gretna (12-1): The Dragons defeated⁢ Millard West 35-14 to ⁢claim the Class A state championship. Gretna’s dominant run game, led by running back Zane Flores, proved too much for the Wildcats.
  2. Millard West (11-2): The Wildcats fell to Gretna in the championship game, finishing as the class A runner-up.
  3. Bellevue West (9-4): Bellevue West lost to North Platte in the ‍Class A semi-finals, ending their season.

  2. Broken Bow ⁤(11-2): Broken Bow finished as the class C-1 runner-up, falling short against Wahoo Neumann.
