Repairs have been completed on water leaks and mould issues affecting multiple wards at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals, a spokesperson for the local health district confirmed Tuesday.
The issues, identified in the C4 East specialised inpatient unit, the older persons’ mental health unit, a patient bathroom, and the C8 East renal ward, prompted remediation work, according to the statement. A sprinkler leak at the nurses’ station in the older persons’ mental health unit was also addressed.
