Holyoke Gas & Electric Commission to Vote on Contract extensions at October 14 Meeting
HOLYOKE, MA – October 9, 2025 – The Holyoke Gas & Electric Commission is scheduled to meet remotely on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. to discuss several key items, including potential extensions for annual contracts related to landscaping and hazardous material abatement. The Commission will review bids received for the extension of the Landscaping Services Annual Contract and the Insulation, Asbestos & Lead Abatement Annual Contract. Thes contracts are routinely reviewed for renewal to ensure continued service and compliance with safety standards. The meeting agenda also includes approval of the September 16, 2025, meeting minutes, reports from the manager regarding division updates, and a discussion of any new business.
Further agenda items encompass a review of recent communications, including draft commission minutes from September 16th, financial statements for August 2025 (submitted by JL/BM), and recommendations from JL/CW regarding both contract extensions.The Commission will also determine the date of its next meeting before adjourning.
