Hiromu Takahashi and Richard Holliday Reportedly Joining WWE
Hiromu Takahashi Transition to Nox Raijin
Hiroum Takahashi, the former IGWP Junior Heavyweight Champion, has been reported as signing with the company since May, per Fightful Select. The transition marks a move for the former LIJ member, who is expected to perform under the ring name Nox Raijin. This rebranding aligns him with his former LIJ teammate in Naraku (who competed as EVIL in New Japan).
Richard Holliday and the Independent Talent Pipeline
Richard Holliday, a former MLW star, is another name expected to join the WWE. Fightful Select indicates that Holliday “could be signed soon if he isn’t already.” Holliday, who has largely competed in MLW aside from a couple appearances on AEW programming in 2024, had several tryouts in the past, and was notably considered for the role of “Mr. Elegance” in TNA.
Roster Integration and Deployment Strategy
There is no timetable given for either man to appear on WWE as of this writing, whether it is in NXT or on the main roster.
